The idea that there are multiple dimensions (or parallel worlds) is not even remotely controversial where I reside. However, the idea that one might actually communicate with individuals from alternate dimensions is considered laughable even in my place and time. Be that as it may, I have fallen into the habit of meeting with such individuals in my dreams. Dan was inspired to write this song when I told him (in one of my dreams) about a series of meetings I had with a most extraordinary young lady -- the love of my life from a dimension other than my own.
